Dr. Kioschos president and founder of Nashville Orthopaedic Specialists, PC, and widely known as “The Shoulder Doc”, is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, specializing in arthroscopic surgery and reconstructive procedures of the shoulder. Dr. Kioschos research in the field of shoulder surgery has been presented nationally and internationally. Dr Kioschos completed his residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon and went on to complete a highly specialized one year fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow surgery directed by shoulder specialist Mark Frankle, MD, at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, FL. Dr Kioschos is currently working as a consultant for Smith and Nephew Orthopaedics and is designing new shoulder replacement instrumentation and implants.

Dr. J. Thomas "Tom" McClure is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr McClure completed an extensive fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, in Adult Reconstructive and Joint Preservation Surgery. Dr McClure also specializes in Joint Replacement, Foot and Ankle Surgery, and Hip and Knee Surgery. Dr McClure completed his residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis TN. Dr McClure is one of only a select few doctors trained to perform the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing Procedure, one of the latest advances in the field of Orthopedics.

Dr McClure recently obtained his CAQ (certificate of added qualification) in Sports Medicine through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. F. Clarke Holmes, IV , a board certified sports medicine physician, joined NOS in September 2009. Since 2006, Dr Holmes had served as the Director of Sports Medicine and head team physician at Georgetown University in Washington, DC since 2006. Prior to Georgetown, Dr. Holmes served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

He graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society. Prior to medical school, he graduated with the highest honors from Ole Miss.

Dr Holmes completed his sports medicine fellowship at Ball State/Central Indiana Sports Medicine in 2002 and his residency at Tallahassee (FL) Memorial Healthcare.

Dr. Holmes brings extensive experience in treating athletes, youth to professional level, as well as non-athletes.

He has expertise in:

Running and cycling injuries, stress fractures, knee arthritis, acute and chronic tendon problems, the overhead throwing athlete, joint and soft tissue injections, concussions, and nonsurgical management of a wide array of other orthopaedic conditions
